UCSD & SDSU Ride Sat 10/21

Well havent had one in a while and thought that it might be a good time to have one. This is a ride for the newer rider who hasn't ever been on a group ride, an experienced rider who might help in sweeping, and for anyone who just likes to ride. Its kinda nice just cruising around and actually enjoy the scenery. We will ride one group at one pace, if you want to go fast and break into seperate groups this is not the ride...Im sure we will have another one of those soon as well.

Meeting spot and times:
8:30 Mobil in La Jolla by UCSD
8:45 Chevron on College and Del Cerro for SDSU

8:45 La Jolla Departure
9:00 SDSU Departure

9:15 Mobil on Telegraph
9:30 Departure

The Route:
805 south to Telegraph canyon rd
Telegraph to potrero to campo.
Campo to sunrise hwy to Julian
Julian to Santa Ysabel
Eat in Santa Ysabel
Santa Ysabel to Old Julian to Ramona and back to the 15

You may leave or break off at any time just let someone know verbally at a stop so we can keep track of everyone. We leave no one behind :thumbsup:

If the group gets bigger I will need some help breaking the groups up

This ride is squid free, no wheelies, stoppies, unsafe passes, or any other stunt that would put anyone in harm's way. If you want to blaze or show off how fast you are this is NOT your ride. WE ARE NOT RACING OR PROVING ANYTHING on this ride...leave that shizz at home. You may do that on your own time but please respect the other members' safety and refrain from doing that here. If you can not abide by these rules you will be asked to leave. We will be using hand signals and other signs to indicate hazards on the road.

Please try and have you bike in running order, change your tires, make sure you replace your battery, regulator rectifier, and wiring harness before you go, or else you look like a jackass....... GPTECHMAN

To attend you must chime in and if you are bringing a guest let us know as well. This is to get an approximate head count. And if possible let tyour guests know the nature of the ride so they understand the purpose of the Easy Company Ride...

Place: SDSU, meet at 9:15 at the Chevron on College and Del Cerro.

Which way are you going on Telegraph? 805 --> Telegraph, or 94--->Telegraph?? If you take the 94--> Telegraph, just meet us at that Chevron, if you do 805-->Telegraph, we'll meet you at 805/Telegraph somewhere, say...the shopping center on the north side.

I've been pretty good at making excuses and not doing an HC group ride. I think I'll keep that reputation up :errf: . I just found out I won't be going on this ride, but I do have a good excuse. My roomie/best friend just found out he's having his first Total Combat fight :bringit: this Saturday in Yuma, and he wants me to go with him, and I really want to be there for it. If it falls through, I'll definetly go on the ride. Ummmm so much for my first HC ride.

Everyone make sure to write down Joe's number in case you can't figure out where the meet up spot is, or you're running 5 minutes behind. Don't want anyone getting left behind because they couldn't figure out the meeting spot.

Might not make it for the tele run, but maybe meet up at Santa Y for some lunch....we'll see. =)
