Really? Damn, I was thinking of taking my SV. I have seen people run track bikes there before. Melissa Paris is one I KNOW I have seen run her race bike down there. I guess it makes sence, the end of that track is kinda dark.

They seem to be pretty anal about bikes for some reason. Couple guys tried to run supermotos down there and they gave them a ton of grief.

Well she is a small girl so the hooters weren't a huge factor. This was also a few years ago, so maybe they hadn't established that rule yet. I also see you need leathers which wasn't required then, and it says you need an ignition kill leash (think jetskis) and I dont know anyone with one of those. I wonder how strict they are.

Are you sure?? I've had a friend go out there on his track bike and had no problems at all.

Last time I ran my bike down there, which was a few months ago (when I had my Kawi still), there were bikes with no headlights, and I saw people in jeans and a textile jacket. Unless they've become more strict (which I doubt cause it always said leathers required online then too), I don't think they'll hassle you for gear or for your bike. I really don't know how my bike passed inspection when I took it out there.. there was so many things that were wrong with it at the time, and I even had part of my farings ghetto tied with zip ties.
