I thought it was just my phantom tail light. But now it is a hesitation under throttle, with the oil light going on and a couple other things. Who isn't busy tomorrow?

a wierd noise from the left side of the bike, the rear brake crunches a little, and suspension needs to be set up

i'm a little confused, are you having a problem with your bike that you need help with or are you just saying that you need to get alot of maintenance done?
or both?

Definately check your oil level... I think it's really bad to your engine components if you have insufficient oil. If that's the case, you shouldn't be running your bike at all.

How many miles do you have on your bike? I had some hesitation while winding up my bike, it was my spark plugs. Definitely check your oil and plugs.

I'm not on base. I'm in El Cajon. Plus, I'm not that experienced and might need help. You know as well as I do, if you ask a Marine a question, wheather he knows the answer or not, he knows the answer. The last thing I need right now is a broke bike.

Yeah Jon, but you "could" go on base. 32nd St has a hobby shop. It's like $5/hr to rent as many tools as you need and you get your own space! When I used to work at 32nd, I always wrenched on my car at the Hobby Shop! ;)

If it's anything like an '03, you are going to hate the "heat shield" when you go to remove the spark plugs.

I found a place with tools, and also found out why these things cost so much in labor when they go to the dealership. Maybe its my inexperience, or the fact that this thing is a total B***H, but it took me 2 hours to change freakin damn spark plugs.
