i would. xcept they're all gone. haha. they were all gone during the pre-order. bummer hu. but if u kno otherwise im probably down.

not entiely true, prolly eb games and gamestop have sold out due to pre orders. i heard that they even sold more preorders than actual shipments they'll recieve. you'll prolly have a better chance at target or something, id stay away from best buy though since you know everyone will try them first plus they're not letting people camp out until 24 hours prior. but regardless if you do, bring a lawn chair, a buddy, and your ipod/psp/ds and dress warm :thumbsup:

Considering the prices for a blu-ray player alone (http://froogle.google.com/froogle?q=blu-ray+player&btnG=Search) I say that buying the system is worth it. It's not just a video game console. not to mention you can buy it and probably sell it for 2 it's retail. =p

Comp USA is letting you reserve PS3 with a purchase of a 42" TV or bigger. :ha: They know how to take advantage of the whole situation.

I highly doubt that! Sony cut half of the shipments so those stores may only see 1/4 of what they were suppose to get so that all stores get an equal supply. My brother and I split a presale voucher and sold it on ebay. I found out each EB game shop is only getting 3 PS3!! Suckas! :roflmao:

I remember when I worked at Toys R Us back in 1996, the must have toy of the season was Tickle Me Elmo and Buzz Lightyear from Toy Story. I got one of each for $29.99 and sold them in the parking lot for $500 each 10 mins later! There's some dumb people out there I tell ya! :slap:

when will they be available for purchase online? haha. i went like at 4:30 to bestbuy in oceanside, where my parents live(lookin to buy a car) and there were already like 30ish, 40ish ppl there just chillin. and seeing as they are only guaranteeing 27 units, i didnt want to stay there for 2nights and not get a unit. so. bummer. they're already goin for 2k on ebay.

Patience is a virtue, and I must say these early adopters have patience. Waiting four days for their shiny new PS3 boxes, and ultimately having to deal with agonizing rev. 1 hardware/software/firmware bugs and turkeys. Truly pioneers for the rest of us.

I would prefer to wait until Sony fixes all of its emulation bugs, improve yields on the Cell processor, and come out with some compelling titles. Where is Metal Gear, Tourist Trophy 2, Gran Turismo 5, and Dance Dance Revolution? :silenced: Yeah, Blue Ray appeals to the high fidelity part of me, but the price on this new gaming machine would be a new Core Duo 2 with a Blue Ray drive and a nice video card.

For me, it's going to be a Wii bit of fun ... :nerd: I like the controller :bowdown:

as awesome as that vid was, seriously, I am REALLY impressed by how much abuse that thing took and how little relative damage there was to it. If you did that to a PS2 it woulda busted into a million pieces after the first hit! Sony made those bad boys indestructible!

The first video, basically we were supposed to lineup @ 12:01am but people got anxious and bolted at 11:45 and quickly 300 other people started to run. Then with all the fuss people from the back went to the left side of BB and started a more *uniformed line*. It sucked for them because the manager came out and said, You guys over there (left side) are ****ed! This line gets the PS3's! We all laughed, and then he started counting heads and got them to sit in a orderly fashioned line.

So much fun:)

I only went to Best Buy b/c I had a midterm @ 7pm and got out at 830 so it would been impossible for me to snag a PS3 @ a target or walmart, because they only had single digit consoles, whereas Best Buy had 20 60gbs and 88 20gbs.
