Where do you go to try on leathers?

Where do you ladies go to size yourself for leathers?

My girlfriend wants to get the sky blue Astars TX-1 2 piece suit (http://www.alpinestars.com/moto/suits_stellatx12pcsuit.html) but can't seem to find a store that has one in stock in her size (which we think would be a 38 or 40). She has tried on a 42 but it was too big for her.

Becky at Buymoto is pretty good at figuring out womens' sizes - she helped me out w/ my Teknic jacket and it fits perfectly. Other than that, I've only been to FBC...

Fun Bike Center, House of Motorcycles...other girls who have suits might work.

just remember that all suit brands size differently. and to leave room for the back protector if she's going to ride trackdays.

I'd say just ask around for other girls. I put my suit up at Buymoto for a week or two one time so other girls could try it on and figure out about how they fit. She can PM any of us with her measurements if she wants. Me, bex, eileen, queen of the bumblebees... pretty much any of us.

Thank you all for your help! Some of you may be getting PMs from her in the near future. We're going to go to a few different places this weekend to try on alpinestar jackets. I called like 6 places last night and nobody carries women's 2 piece suits in stock! Ridiculous!

If there is no one that has that style they can have her try on, and you cant find it anywhere, at cycle gear you do have to put down half when you special order leathers, BUT if it doesn't fit you can "return" it and get all that money back (or at least thats what they told me :P).

I would talk to bex at Buymoto... see if there is anything that can be done in case you order it and it doesnt fit... just cuz buymoto will most likely be cheaper

also there is the Long Beach motorcycle show this weekend you could check out... someone there might have it... and I hear Buymoto was going to be able to have a ton of stuff there as well.
