I'm working tomorrow, going to Big Bear on Monday, so I'm going for a ride to scuff in the new BT020 on the rear on Tuesday.
Anybody wanna join me? Thinking of leaving early (8-9AM) from PB, probably try to figure out the whole OJH/Banner/everywhere else that the recent Saturday rides have been on/around.
I'm PACE-riding based, don't really ride that hard, but I finally got some pants, so I'll probably be riding harder in the corners than I normally do. Freeways 75-80.

I don't...hoping somebody with more experience than what a map can tell ya, will be able to show up. I don't really care if I get lost myself, but I know lotsa people don't really dig the idea.
I'll be going somewhere, whether or not other folks want or are able to.

Anybody riding Palomar tomorrow? Beautiful day today except for the rediculous amount of cars going up. I was only able to get a couple good runs in. I'm hoping it will be better tomorrow, since its supposed to rain on Friday.

I'll try to make it to Paly tomorrow and meet up with you guys, have to run in to work for a bit first. Today wasn't a total wash, got a few good runs in, but it was freaking busy.
We need to make a sign at the bottom of the hill that says 'NO SNOW ON TOP!' That's what most of them were up there for. I directed a few of them over to Laguna.
Some BMW bikers fell over next to my bike, I thought the Pilio was trapped underneath my bike and quickly leaped out of Mother's to the rescue (of my bike of course). Ivan (Paly Mofia) tells me that it happens quite often, somebody stops at mothers and doesn't realize the parking lot is at an angle and falls over.
Hope to see you all tomorrow.

All I have to say is you all need to get a freaking job. I am looking at Palomar outside of my office window and the weather looks great up there. Have fun and see you all on the weekend.

Sweet run today! My first real stretch on the Buell, so I am jazzed. The bike took some getting used to, but the runs up and down Banner helped me work on my technical riding through those tight turns. Sorry I had to bail on you guys without saying goodbye but I was running out of gas and had to run into Alpine to fill up on the way home.
Count me in for any future runs :)

I finally made it out after a nice dim sum lunch with some HyCy members, then over to Buymoto for some chat. Went to Julian/Banner/Borrego Springs/S22 back past Paly. Real nice desert sunset, some RANDOM bicycle riding up the S22 as it was getting real dark.
Scuffed in the new rear, slid it a few times unintentionally, I guess the loss of a pound of rotating mass plus the better friction of ductile iron and new Ferodo pad does help power over the stock Ducati parts after the change to a Braketech Superlight full floating rotor. It'sa nice!
I might make it a short ride tomorrow over just to Paly, a few runs up and down, then back home.
