Sorry to compare us to another board, but would it be possible to add to that bar with the "new" link, a link for "today's posts" which lists the 50 most recent posts which have been created/replied to? http://www.socalsportbikes.com/xmb/today.php

Isn't that what the GET NEW button is for?
That is in fact what the "Get New" function does. It's a bit tiny on the main hompage but it is a link under your avatar as "New Posts".

A bit different in that it only lists "new to you" items. I was looking for a list of 50 items, regardless of whether or not I have viewed them.
Is that different from the list of items on the right side of the homepage? It is a list of the most recently created/modified threads.

Nope, exactly what I wanted... except a list of 50. Maybe link the text "Latest Forum Topics" to the list of 50?

Or maybe set up a choice in options to allow you to scale how many you want to see?

Cool! It looks like you implemented it. But the link only appears if you are not logged in. :(

Not a bother since I just bookmark this. Found it after I cleared out my cookies and went to HyperCycles.

I knew it was somewhere because I found it one day, but then forgot where it was like a week later!

Sean, not sure if this is what you are looking for, but in your user panel (under user options) you can set how far back you want to see those threads.
