Ok with my last of the late brakers episode at pahrump Im thinking about getting some of these vesrahs to see what braking is all about...

Anyone try the new SRJLs?

the XX or 17s?

I also wanted to know what you guys preferred or like about a pad with a linear feel or progressive feel. I never really thought too much about brakes since I usually go since my entry speed is so slow. :errf:

The XXs are just 17s that last longer. Personally, I like the linear SRJLs, but the RJLs seem to work well too and are a LOT cheaper. I'm as much of a late-braker as they come and love these pads for trail braking all the way to apex.

Those are the X the XX are different...less initial bite but more progressive feel.

Yeah the X are just the same as the SRJLs but 1mm thicker

Ya, I read about them awhile ago...i didnt pay much attention since they only make them for GSX-Rs and I have no interest in Zuks :bringit:

I've used the RJL's on my SV since I was a novice (they don't make SRJL's for the tiny brakes on that bike). They're great brake pads. Last forever and stop the bike like a mo-fo.
