I can't find my blinker fluid resivor. It is no where in the orner's manual. My rear blinker is low, I know it, it hasn't worked since I low sided it. I think the fluid drained out while it was on it's side. Hmmmm. Damn Japanese bikes.

since when is 97 so old? My newest bike has 12 years on yours. It also needs the brakes bled and uh.. .a lot of other things, which would be much easier with more than one person.

Hey SpecialisTX,
Would you know how to fix an idle problem on a 250? I can't seem to get the bike to idle correctly.

I have no clue how to do either maintenance?! Yeah I'm a moron that can only change the oil. Anyone willing to teach me? I'd buy the beers & food with some extra dough for your time?

no way... i was still using the 250 as my main bike after i bought the RR

heres the thing, it just so happened that the 250 bailed out on me in the middle of the road while trying to come back home.

its all a coincidence!

i think the kawi is jealous and just wanted to give up on me...

maybe u just need to clean out ur carbs. if thats the case, go to buymoto and they'll tell u how to do it. u can either get the carbs completely rebuilt which is not an easy job and should be done professionaly. or if u go to buymoto, theyll tell u how to clean the carbs in an easier way. bryant told me all u gotta do is get some carb cleaner spray and spray it into the holes of the carbs and rev ur bike to burn it off. but theyll explain it better.

Walter and I are going to be doing a few repairs at my house tomorrow (Friday) at 1:30pm til whenever. You guys are more than welcome to join us.

I live in the same townhouse complex as Joe and Jeanette, so parking is a bit tight. PM me if you can make it.

And if you have a 4"-6" C-clamp and needlenose pliers, please let me know!!

It's looking that way. The majority of the vote was for a hands on, but if BuyMoto does decide to do classroom sessions for liability reasons, or doesn't cover some stuff that you would us to help you out with, please let us know, and we'll do a follow up maintenance day (next quarter). I do however highly recomend everyone gets their bikes up and running happy during BuyMoto's maintenance day because I feel an EZ company ride coming up soon before Finals. =)

Also, seeing as to how March 30th is Streets of Willow track day is coming up during our spring break,(we should all go ^_________^) so we might do a mini maintenance day for anyone who wants help with the track prep.

What are you guys doing? I'll probably be at work/class, but I'll stop by afterwards. If people are riding, parking shouldn't be tight, and there's always parking on campus point for cars.

Walt is gonna install new levers, I'm gonna replace my brake pads (car). I also might need some soldering on some wires for my bike.

But for those who need other minor stuff done, drop on by. We can help you with an oil change or chain lube, or you can just come to hang out/watch tv/play video games. There'll probably be parking on Campus Pt Dr, but its just a bit further from my house than yours.

I don't mean to compete the the BuyMoto maintenance day or anything, I just happen to need to fix my car tomorrow and figured having company wouldnt be a bad idea....

Just PM me if you're thinkin about coming so I know how many people to expect. Thanks!
