Hello all. Hypercycles will be running a Maintenance Day and BBQ soon and would like to get some feed back on what type(s) of maintenance our members are most interested in learning.

For right now, the Maintenance Day is slated to be March 4.

Here is how it works:

Hypercycles will arrange to have all the necessary tools and parts available for purchase at discounted prices from BuyMoto prior to the maintenance day. Example, if you are doing an oil change, you will have the option of purchasing an oil pan, oil filter wrench, socket wrench, crush washers, etc. Once the service is done, you may return at a later time to pick up your tools so that you may do your own service in the future. Classrooms will be in sessions of six riders (sorry no spectators). We will do as many sessions as needed for people who are interested.

Event will be at the BuyMoto service area. PM Jae for further details.

For now, please give us some feedback on what kinds of maintenance you are interested in.

the wheel removal will definately help. when i bought my bike, the guy had the plates mounted to the axle off to the side. i've been dying to take it off but dunno how and what kinda spacer i need in place of the damn thing.

anyway, looking forward to it and meeting everybody.

that actually sounds like a pretty good idea. but you need two ppl to do that anyways, so you'll need a buddy system

I need to learn to do my brakes and lines. I still have new front brakes and lines I need to install. I dont need to purchase any tools I dont think I have a lot of craftsman stuff.
