Yes, this is my first bike. I bought her in December. The R6 is one hell of a starter bike! :-p
Anyway, thanks for the welcome. I have driven with some of the girls from CC Racers, but that was only twice. I defintely need more practice!

Sean, She has an awesome BLUE R6. I knew she had to check hypercycles out :). Well the other day a couple ccraceher metup and just cruised to beach, so I am sure Tara is looking forward to some REAL roads (Twisties).

Erlend Rene, Where you folks goin on friday? Maybe Tara can join you, you guys should take her to Highland valley road, I bet she will love to try it :)

We are going on Friday. I think the destination was Palomar, but I am shure we can take Highland valley to get there.

If she is worried about Palomar tell her not to be. If need be I will hang back and show her the mountain. Done it before a couple of times.

I have only been riding since December, so I am not fully comfortable on the twisties. I know practice makes almost perfect, but Palomar is still a bit intimidating to me, especially after hearing all the horror stories about it.
However, it's definitely not out of the question for me. I also don't want to go up there with a group and end up being responsible for slowing everyone down.

By the way my R6 is blue. I loved the blue the moment I laid eyes on it! Nothing against the red or silver R6's!
Well, I am free for the next 13 days...spring break, so I am up for some good rides. Look me up! Thanks again for the warm welcome!

You will not be responsible for slowing anyone down. I am constantly slow on Palomar, and my last student is about to graduate with honors... so I need a new palomar student :-p

However... everything related to riding is just about having fun and feeling comfortable, so if you don't feel up to it then there is always another time.
