My first race with WSMC was last month, so I'm still in novice...which is fine, except I don't like starting in the back row of the second wave. I have absolutely no chance at finishing with more than 1 point.

Disco, sign up for HW as well! Its good practice and better than only getting to race once.

They'll let you run in heavy weight novice and mw novice no probs? I might do that and just pull off on the last lap of the hw novice race or something.

No need to pull off the last lap. If your going to race 1000cc bikes, you deserve your result! Besides its only novice.

No need to pull off the last lap. If your going to race 1000cc bikes, you deserve your result! Besides its only novice.

They won't let you score points in HW. So it doesn't matter.

Yeah, you can only get novice points in a single class, Min = 10 to tranfer to expert, Max = 30 and then you have to bump up to the big boys

race school on sat
race on sun (if u want to race)

make sure you buy a novice license and a transponder (can be rented) if you want to race.

Haha...yeah...thats what I'm saying.

Any idea on what the costs are? I have a idea but there are a **** ton of forms to fill out with all these different costs.

Im almost ready to go...still waiting on one case cover.....saftey wiring tonight. Plastics should be dropped off today or tomorrow.

I should have a ride but its not confirmed yet...SO IF ..anyone can give me and my moto a lift...we would greatly appreciate it..

Yeah, the costs add up quick, but once you get out there it's worth every penny. I recall license, school, race fees, xpndr about $500. Then you got tires, gas, food, lodging . . .

At least the weather looks good. Last March it was raining.

I got family staying in the RV with me. Otherwise i would have invited you to crash in the rv.

Wish i could have made it. Couldn't get the bike together in time. Damn house refinance is messing up my priorities. Ill be there for sure in May. No doubt...
