ok, but who's going to pull it?
I can drive my parents suburban but it drinks gas like crazy, but still an option...

I don't mind pulling it...
Last time I went to uhaul, it took 2 HOURS for pick up and 1 hour just to drop the thing off... and they weren't even busy.
...they had the four frickn stooges working there.
I'm glad marc was there because misery keeps company :) dood, how crazy was that sheit? Tell me you weren't about to tee off on knuckleheads number 1 and 2...
So mike, if you want to go rent a trailer... I'll pick it up and drop it off at your house, no prob... but I won't be going to uhaul. :)
It's the principality my brutha!
...just another option for you.

Mike.. are you confirmed on Greg's trailer? If you are, then I'm going to have to rent a trailer on my own. If not, then I would like to call dibs on it soon because I need to know in advance what I should plan on doing. If you would like to split a rental truck with me, I'd do that. Rental trucks usually cost about $30-$40/day.

Rented a trailer at Uhaul 3 times also, will NEVER do it again. One of their main problems is that the clerk handling the physical line at the store, also answers the phones to take reservations, WTF? You can imagine the jam that creates, and I aint talking with peanut butter. They also overcharged me two of the times, twice the amount! Although they fixed it, it sufficiently detracted any future visits to their locations by me  .

Marc had the same problem at the Miramar one. Is it just that one or do all of them suck? :jackoff:

I only went to the one in Chula Vista each time, so I can't really comment on the other ones. I'll just use my truck now :).

Well if it happened at two different locations you know it ain't the lady who's answering phones fault. I guess they just suck period!

uhh I guess I can go and rent a trailer saturday
So who can pull it?
I can with my suburban but it'll drink gas.
If I haul 4 bikes and 4 guys with gear (all will fit, np )
We'll just have to split gas (9 mpg)
Whatcha think?
Bryant?
who else?

Wut? I'm a "possibly" now? DOH!!! :errf:
No worries, if you guys are all situated, I can roll on my own no problemo. I was only offering to help just in case Mike couldn't get a ride. Otherwise, I don't mind driving alone with a one-bike trailer for my bike.

I meant that it was a posiblity, cause I wasn't sure whether or not you were going to cruise up there you're self or what not.
So lets plan on towing your bike with ours ;) I'll have to conferm trailer size btw.

Mike did you call and see if there are any available? Usually they require you to call in two weeks prior!

OK listen up guys.
I reserved a 6' X12' trailer from 9:30 a.m. Sunday morning to 5:30 p.m. tuesday night from the Camino Ruiz U-haul.
It is 30 bucks a day.
Uses 1 7/8" to 2 1/8" trailer hitch ball.
I may be able to pick it up...
So far bikes on trailer...
John
Sean
Bryant
Me

Is Jae Kim going?
Bryant
03-23-2004, 07:32 PM
Yes, Jae is going but he just bought his own truck so he's set. BuyMoto has two sets of tie downs for sale if anyone needs em. I have a set for my bike already so we are good there at least.
