5/21 Monday PC Show

When: Monday, May 21st, 2007 @ UCSD Price Center
Time: 8-5:00pm

It's that time again folks. For those that don't know, it's when we all give you free motorcycle parking with security for the day right in the middle of Price Center. So in order to have this event work, we need a few people to help table the booth, and maybe bring a TV, video games, easy-up, ramps and of course you bikes. This event is different from our previous pc shows because we're collaborating with SD Ride club and UCSD Imports. There will be cars on library walk and bikes/offroad vehicles in the inside

Post up if you're interested in helping out or would like more information on this event. NOTE: If you're bringing your bike on campus, you must cut the engine and walk/coast your bike in once you are no longer on the steet. Thanks.


Please post up on the times in which you can be at the booth to pass out flyers etc etc.

Also, if someone could provide us with the following items Please post up with what you can bring:

DMV Booklets ()
Hypercycles Banner (covered)
Ramp
EZ-up (Walt)
TV ()
Games or DVD player ()
Munchies?

**Post with the times that you will be available to man the booths so we make sure there is someone there during the hours**

i can bring my bike, but i can only stay for a while, cause of work, maybe during a 2 hour lunch, cause i needs to go to the biomed library for some publications, will that be alright?
by the way do any of yall know where the biomed library is? ha i can grab some dmv manuals if yall need me to.

actually, since we have to pay to bring our cars out, i think i'm just gonna stick with bringing the bike. although bumpin music all day out of the car on library walk is always fun.

If I recall correctly, Mike(Imports Prez) mentioned that you need to pay 10 or 15 per post/blockade thing the campus has to remove in order for you to roll the cars into library walk. Aren't you glad you have a small bike? ;p

last time imports charged $10-15 per car to get the car in the show. not sure if that covers logistics for the show (sponsors and stuff) or if it goes to incurred costs (from the school or otherwise).

I dont think it goes for the posts, cause they remove like 2 posts to get all the cars in, and when i brought my car to library walk for welcome week for imports, we just went around by the PC cul de sac entrance, it was wide open cause of construction.

still need a few things to spruce it up - a stabilizer, exhaust, HIDs. it'll probably still be stock by the show, but we'll see.

Aww I wish my bike was pretty to be in the show. I think I'll bring her as proof of what's eventually gonna happen to your bike: you're gonna drop it!

yea.... the person who started the thread is SLOW! so forgive him. i'll go pick up some DMV booklets tomorrow and i got a TV on campus that we can use, the same one from last time.

The last one from Winter quarter, some guy named Scott managed to sweet talk me into motorcycling. :bowdown: And within a month, I got my MSF, license, bike, insurance, gears (thanks to buymoto) and went on twisties group ride /w HC. LOL talk about good, effective advertising of the PC Show.:thumbsup:

For Monday, I can bring my bike (06 Ninja 500). and Gamecube /w Super Smash Bros.

Let me know if you need any of the above.

First of all!

Sorry everybody that i haven't been posting much on the fourm, just been a bit busy and slipped my mind. I've updated joe, scott, and arthur about the details of the show, and we're good to go.

I personally can't show up (or bring the canopy) until 11AM.

Price center is blueformed and we're good to go on bringing everything in at 8 or 9am, whenever you guys want to bring the bikes in (and tables, tv, etc). We have A/V tech, so it would be nice for us to have a DJ and use the sound system too! Just make sure we have everything that Joe checked off together and we're good to go!

why won't it start? did you
1. turn on the kill switch
2. in neutral
3. or not start it for a while
4. start it but not let battery charge for a bit
or you could always push start :)
