If every crash you walk away from is a good crash, then I guess every crash you ride the bike away from is a great crash. :-p

Crashed coming down the tight side about two turns up from the bottom. Came in with pretty fast entrance speed (for me, although I'm still the official Hypercycles backmarker) around 40-50mph. Slammed it right into mad lean angle (again, for me) and held the throttle constant, too mentally overloaded to even think about rolling on. About mid-corner I spotted the exit and for some reason really pulled that ****er down to the ground in peg-scraper territory. I'd never been there before and did exactly what a scared rookie would do, but what you never should do. I rolled off the throttle.....front washed.....I slid. I didn't remember rolling off for a few hours. Didn't know what the hell happened, but as time passed I kind of began to remember more about what happened.

You can see the straight line where the front washed out, then the arcing skiddie where the rear tire followed. I guess when the bike hit the ground I pulled the throttle and the ass-end of the bike shot out. White lines are case-covers and frame slider.

Bike flew down to the right. I didn't follow it because the little reflector post was kind enough to stop me. Thanks buddy!!!

Apparently I was more comforatable in left-handers cause it's much more worn over there. Was turning left when crashed also. Regardless whether the tire is borderline and should be replaced, I still rolled off and overloaded it. No dice blaming the tire this time. ;)

As you can see, I'm very lucky. Surprisingly little damage to the bike and next to none on me. What pissed me off is that when the bike flew off the side of the road, it only jacked up one side and the other was near perfect. Me and 3 other guys couldn't get it back up the mountain, so we tied a rope around the forks and a fire truck pulled it back up to the road. It fell on the good side and the damn truck drug it all the way to the road and trashed the other side, too.

Hey man, saw you there on Saturday. Myself and Julio went back up to Mothers trying to find a truck and rope to get you out of there. Some of the locals up there were real asses. After about 45 minutes we finally got a truck and rope but by the time we got back down you were already gone.

Thanks dude!!! I wish I would've known, I would have came and told ya or at least waited there for you guys. Appreciate you guys going out of your way like that.

Oh yeah, thanks Sean, I was gonna resize 'em but my fiance got home. Would'a done it now but you're one step ahead of me.

I hit the signpost I would guess around 5-10 mph right in the gut. Right when I went down my should really dug in and ground the pavement, which slowed me down a lot. Just woke me up. I had so much adrenaline I probably couldn't feel much anyway.

Brendan's buddy went down there, but he is not the one that Arnold is talking about. At least... I don't think it is. He is not paralyzed.
