thanks Bryant for coming over to help out and thanks to Mike as well for coming over

turns out my huge problem wasnt a big of a deal as i made it out to be Bryant had no problem taking care of it and Mike showed us both a cool trick for tensioning chains - next project for the gix6 is replacing the brake pads but ill make sure to not start the project a few days before i plan to take the bike down to mexico

thanks again everyone not only that came by but also the solid advice from all the post'rs - proving once again why hypercycles ROX

put a screwdriver in the sprocket teeth and turn the back wheel till the chain clamps it in there then tighten the chain tensioning bolts (i forgot the actualy name Bryant used for them) and the axle nut - roll the tire back till the screwdriver comes free and TADA! the chain is perfectly tensioned - i was curious about damage to the chain and/or sprocket but Mike assures me it wont damage either one and he said if it does he will buy me a brand new sprocket and chain (well he didnt say that in those exact words but it was something close to that or along the lines of "it wont damage the chain or sprocket")
