Headlights

i was just on the freeway tonight and it wa clear so i took the bike up to 130 when i was comming down. one of my headlights went out. it works when it is on brights but not on normal beams. did i blow the light? i have a 01 R6. and the bulb looks hyper white. how do i check it? it was on before but not now
