I was just curious if WSMC is a little less strict with tech than WERA? Do any of you race WERA?

Do i have to safety wire header bolts and every damn hose clamp on the bike?

Oh and is it legal to use the quick release pins safety wired together on parts with no fluids behind them?

yes. i do my caliper bolts this way. And you do need to safetywire the hose clamps for radiator hoses, no saftey wire needed for header bolts.

What he said. I know, it was pointless for me to do this, but it makes me feel better!:squid:
Pat, what month are you going to hit up the races?

Well right now I am enjoying some time off. I lived at Jennings GP Racetrack (in Florida) for a year (literally lived there). I was the head instructor which means I did about 250 miles a day 3 days a week, sometimes more (year round) for 2 years..Last year I logged over 12000 miles at that track....I'm tired (and only 28!!). After a while you just need a break (and you need to heal after a few bad crashes). So I'm looking for a new race package right now (06 or 07 gsxr 600 fully prepped) but in the mean time I'm gonna do some track days (on the old gixxer 600) just to shake the cobwebs (haven't ridden in about 4 months and it feels great!). When your hobby becomes your job, sometimes it becomes not so fun. Anyways...as far as racing I haven't even looked at the schedule so I'm not too sure.
When is the next good track day coming up? I'm aways down for a track day. Keep me posted.

don't forget your exhaust bracket/holder bolts as well.
From what I've heard, just make sure you bring your drill and some bits
