No, they will not be running the HP2 in WSBK. It doesn't say that if you read it. BMW will be running their 190/190 project. The HP2 wouldn't stand a chance in hell against true superbike, in any state of tune.

That looks like it, although I'm not sure what the finished product will look like. They were using R-6 bodywork in testing, as you can see in that rendering.

I'm not sure where I got to see it, but I got a good look at a Black BMW in what looked like a regular TrackDay, leaned over going left, wearing R6 fairings but if you look closely, the exhaust piping is different...
...I'll post the photo if I can find it.......maybe it was in a magazine? I can't remember...
