I pulled this post off of another board, and it's an excellent read. A bit on the lengthy side, but well worth it :headbang:. Some great factual evidence, and research is presented.

I hear ya man....That article is longer than a mofo! I just started reading it one day when I was getting ready to narrow my search down, and buy a back protector. It's actually pretty interesting if your in the right mood:eek:. Perhaps I can give you a readers digest version after reading it again, and when I'm not so damn tired. Just got home from work nizzle (12:40am), and still haven't made enough money this weekend to buy me some 208gp's fo da trizzy mang! Skim the article and you will see who makes that good ish that will protect those vertebrae.

Get the Knox KC2000 X1, it is the best in my opinion.....ask shaggy he has one. It's a little thick though, and it's soft so it makes it kind of hard to pull your suit on over it.............so if you don't have that much room, get an Alpinestars Tech protector, they are really good

Ahh yes, I was asking him about that back protector when we were doing some maintenance on my bike about a week or two ago. I didn't realize it was a Knox at first glance, but then looked at it up close. Definitely a high quality back protector, and killer deal! I went with the Dainese Wav II a few months ago, and have been very happy with it so far!
