Build your own. It's not hard. If you have the aptitude to ride a fixxer.......I mean gixxer, you can do it. :-p

Go to www.newegg.com (http://www.newegg.com)

They're about as cheap as you'll find and awesome customer service/fast shipping.

Lately Dell has been beating home-built system prices tit for tat, though, so check them out too.

Did I just say tit for tat??? WTF.

What's wrong with your pooter. Does it turn on???

If you wanna build it yourself, doesn't Fry's guarentee lowest prices? And if you don't wanna build as i'm getting from your post, who knows, maybe they'll build it for you for an additional cost. Beats running all over the net ordering parts from 50 million different places and having to pay a different shipping cost for each part.

I thought building comps was hard... but it's not. If KC cant do it for you, I will. Just bring me all the parts.

While Fry's is damn convenient, if you are buying a lot of parts from them, well, I wouldn't do it. I've noticed that they are quite good at selling really crappy/non-working stuff, so I only buy one thing at a time from them.

I'd just order everything from Newegg. If you want to know what brands/parts are good/bad (in my opinion), ask away, as I am a computer nerd...

To avoid the building process, you might want to just go with Dell or ABS or something. Maybe even Falcon Northwest :-p

newegg = bomb beezy

i purchase all my parts from them

I'll help you out dood...not that hard to put one together... hell I did it for a living.... :nerd:

I'll be out of town until Monday....but if you want, we can take a trip to Fry's, pick out some stuff and slap it together in a couple hours...

PM me and let me know...

It'll be easier than your laptop....and I won't have screws left over this time... :-p

..... or I can figure out what happened to yours and fix / upgrade it

That's a common misconception. I hear it all the time from inexperienced computer users. The problem is that you have NOWHERE NEAR ENOUGH PORN!!! :-p

Is it rebooting, hard-locking, or just random errors???

WTF is wintrust32.dll? Are you sure it's not wintrust.dll? Have you virus scanned/spyware scanned? What version of Windows you running?

Start with this.......Windows RAM tester (http://oca.microsoft.com/en/windiag.asp)

If it completes the first pass without error, the RAM is fine. Of course, I'm a geek so I set it to the advanced test and let it run overnight just to be sure. :nerd:

Oh yeah, back up EVERYTHING you need to on your pc NOW!!!!!

If it's randomly powering down, it's just a matter of time untill it's all gone.

PM me, I can help you fix, build or maybe even find you a smoking deal on a newer model.

ME is a pile of $h1t.....i would go to 98SE if you have an older computer...if it's fast enough just put XP and some more RAM in it.

Hit me up!
