Umm, can anyone explain how this happens and what repacking does?
"The other plus point with titanium is if you lose all the packing from the can (this happens anyway over time and use) the titanium sleeves are unaffected. With carbon sleeves, the carbon just burns away (eventually). That's why you see so many Ducs with discolored carbon cans, espetially at the front end of the can. As a matter of course, you should really repack the cans every 2 years or 6000 miles anyway."
I've never heard of having to repack cans, carbon fibre or any other can for that matter. Just wondering what it meant and is it somthing that any of you guys with CF cans do.
