I was there 2 years ago at the end of June. 103 degrees on the tarmac. Talk about fast tire warmup!! bring PLENTY of water - and make it cold! I stopped every 20 minutes and soaked my head and drank Gatorade!! Be prepared! Great track though!
Enjoy!

Hello there Michael! (Kit from Knight Rider's voice)! Be sure to introduce yourself here! Introduce (http://www.hypercycles.org/forums/showthread.php?s=&threadid=43&perpage=15&pagenumber=1)
That's how it was when we were at Buttonwillow last June 27th. 111 degree temps and crashes galore. Every time we pitted, we had a cold Gatorade, a damp wet towel, and a nice shaded canopy to cool done under!

Micky runs those events.. He's a cool cat.. we both help out riders David Sanders and Nicky Moore..
Anyway.. I'll hit up one of those events as soon as I can find the time/money.. Until then.. I'd say Micky has the Trackdaz Stamp of approval.. I highly recommend doing a day at Pahrump with those guys!
