hi all you roadies :D ive been dying to get a street bike and have ridden a few friends' bikes (seans f4 and omars 750 chalkboard), loved it. my problem is a common one though, $$ just aint there, plus i have unknown tranny probs to fix on my dirtbike.
SO.. i think my solution is going to be something along the lines of a $1000 - $1500 oldish gs500 to tool around on. bryant (whats ur sn?) gave me his 2 cents, i was wondering if anyone else had any input about gs's or any other recomendations to fit my bill, like ex500 maybe?
anyone sellin one?
thanks all
billy

Welcome to the forum, have no experience with the GS500 except for that my sis rides one, it should be a good beginner bike. I have a friend who has a race prepped one too.

An older Kawi EX500/Ninja would cost around $1500. That's how much my old '91 cost and I sold it three years later for the same amount.

PM EvilKawi, he has the EX500 and I thought I heard him saying he was thinking about a new bike. I could be wrong though.
