WTF? Why wasn't the red flag thrown out ASAP?

sidenote: I yelled out when the corner workers got hit -- wasn't expecting to see that -- and now my co-workers are wondering.....

never seen that before. very disturbing and obviously the situation was not handled how it should have been. definatly an example of target fixation. sad to see that many get injured. wow

That was absolutly horrible. I cannot believe that crap. They should have thrown up some sort of caution flag or something.

Whoa! Those corner workers should have been red flagging instead of running out to pick up the bike....Hopefully everyone was alright!

Ok this is the second time I've seen this video. It is disturbing. That's obvious. What isn't obvious is the final outcome. ANYONE KNOW HOW SEVERELY THE CORNER WORKERS AND RIDERS WERE INJURED. Perhaps the date of the crash(es). I'd really like to know more. I tried searching the title of the video through google, but had no luck.
