Lower portion of Mesa Grande from Santa Y is now completely repaved - 95% of the road is now in great condition. As always watch for sand/gravel on the tight 15 MPH right hander at the trashy trailer home. The twisty section above the hideout still has tar snakes that could be slightly slick in real hot weather.

Hmmm, heading out to palomar in about ten minutes. I just might have to hit up mesa grande on the way home...Last time I rode through there they had just barely began to repave the road.
