If i can get faster i will. I actually planning on it so i hope i can lower my lap times when i get the new bike. Im moving to a 03 r6. Im hoping to learn more on this bike..

I'll be racing CCS and WERA. I can't get myself to get psyched over WSMC though...I'd rather get better at riding than to get better at the big track.

Shady.. so getting better at the big track wont make you a better rider?

Hmm.... Jacob West #86 does 1:23's at Willow springs.. But wow.. guess what.. he's also pretty damn fast at buttonwillow and Streets too.

Vince Haskovec cut his racing teeth at WSMC.. but I guess it didn't help him become a better rider either..
John Hopkins, Jeremy Toye, Jack Pfieffer, Tony Miering, etc.. I can keep going with examples if you like.

Dustin, Dustin, Dustin....such a staunch and avid supporter of WSMC. From what I have heard WSMC is one of the most expensive series to run if you dont run a Suzuki clod with Dunslops (which you run both). You can get good at Big Willow and be a fast rider, but you can also be a top rider in WSMC and be a mediocre rider leaving no contingency $$$ for any aspiring riders. I've only ever raced 2 races and have been able to pay for my next race's tires and entries with contingency as an amature. I doubt I could do anywhere near as well going to WSMC and racing guys who ride that track week-in and week-out. I'd rather be able to mix it up a bit....even if CCS is a "mom and pop organization". I would definately do WSMC too if I had the extra cash to lay down for a weekend that I knew that I would only make a very small portion of my money back.

there are several different dudes winning in WSMC.. Guys like Chris Siglin come down to race at Willow only on Yamaha Money weekends.. and kickass..
The 600 class is brutally fast.. If you want to win, you gotta be fast.. Your Yammy is actually the perfect bike for WSMC 600 classes.. It seems to win quite a bit..
ps.. racing in Novice classes at Willow, you can win contingency money too..
I'm not racing for money though.. I'm racing for the good clean fun of it.. If I was racing for money, My fatass would have quit a long time ago ;)
COme on Shady.. you just passed the BAR exam.. Get your lawyer ass to work to your riches can pay for this expensive ass sport.

I'll be doing WSMC this year but am considering a few WERA rounds and *MAYBE* CCS for next year...
