Quick question: what canyon roads are between here and there? Last time I tried a canyon route to Temecula, I wound up in Big Bear. :D

Little Tujunga to Vasquez Canyon to Bouqet Canyon to Spunky Canyon to San Francisquito Canyon to Lake Elizabeth to Lake Hughes.

Santa Monica Mountains: Las Flores; Piuma; Stunt; Tuna Canyon; Latigo Canyon; Mulholland Hwy.

18 towards Lake Arrowhead, then 330 back down. (Though this route is usually riddled with cars).

...oh yeah, and to make ACH interesting, we can ride down Upper Big Tujunga and then take Angeles Forest Highway back to ACH. Or if it the snow has melted, we can take ACH all the way to Mt. High and take the roads back to Mt. Emma. to AFH to ACH. The possibilities are endless... *sigh* just need the temperatures to rise a lot.

Um I dont know about you guys but I think that OUR RESIDENT PIMP DRE has made it out to tooo many events down in SD for us not to come up there....SO Im down to roll up northside to do this...so DRE doesnt have to hoof it down here...It should go both ways...plus this is a chance to se some new roads

Actually, I go down to San Diego because those roads are still new to me: keeps my pace slower. Not that I am faster up here... just relatively faster to me.

My average of 2,000 miles a month dipped in November and December, but I blame it on the cold weather and ignition coil misfortunes. So you see, rides to San Diego help me bring that average back up, and assure I keep the rubber side down! :)

This ride is definitely in the iron ass catagory. But with any good ride the time and the miles go by pretty quickly.

And......when's the ride again?
