This forum looked lonely with no threads...thought I'd start one.

My favorite ride is the BIG loop:
94 East to S1 North (Sunrise Hwy.) to Julian
Out Wynola Rd then down to Santa Ysabel.

Then either: over to Palomar - up the fast side, down the slow and back home

or

Old Julian Hwy to Ramona then Highland Valley back home.

I tried going through Highland Valley from Old Julian to Pomarado and it just messed me all up. I prefer the 'Hammer's Route' for me!

Or the Telegraph Canyon Lake "Warm Up" to the fork towards the Border Patrol Checkpoint up to Potrero to the S1 Sunrise Highway, left at end of Sunrise heading towards Cuyamaca Lake and around that area back towards the 8East under the bridge to Lyon's Valley then back thru the Telegraph "Warm Up" to the Mobil for refueling and go home!!!

I haven't rode that one in a while. I usually do it in the other direction. Must be messy as hell right now back in the burned out areas,

We rode through some of the burned out areas this past Wednesday and it wasn't bad at all.

Ahh see coming from PB for me just takes forever to get to Ramona...then I hate riding home from Ramona I am always tired of being on the bike by then and I wanna speed all the way back but I have to watch out for Po Po.

If I could just trailer to Santa Ysabel I would...or better yet Montezuma haha.

The BEST loop is any that heads right out to Montezuma. :thumbsup:
