View Full Version : SMX plus vs. Supertech
Is there much difference between the two boots? If I can afford the supertech should I just go for it?

depends, I think that the supertech has an internal reinforced boot lining. Its more protection and I would assume it would be more stiffer, both torsionally and laterally. I have 4 pins in my tib/fib so I opted to get the higher end sidi, and thats only cuz I got a crazy deal on it. for the money I would go with the plus, and spend the extra cash on some other goodies....but if you got it to burn those supertech are the SHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHIIIIIIIIIIIIIIZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZ ZZZ!!!
i ended up getting supertech's, i love em, a bit tight on the sides and bites into "pinky toe" when walking, but these boots were not made to be walked in.
When actually riding tho these things are beautiful, foot area doesnt get hot and feel confident in em - could'nt ask for more

hmm thanks for the info, i was debating between the two too...
Well I don't think they are "tight" really on me, i think they fit perfect - its just I am used to riding / walking around in big comfy lugs, so its a big chage.
Side note, the biting seems to have gone away mostly. I think it just needs to break in a little
