The Spec-1Rs are a good price. But BuyMoto can hook up Gunwinds replicas for that price too. All costs considered, it's about the same ;)

I wear a Large Arai.. and still wear a Large Suomy. I also have a large HJC. I guess i have one of those "universally" LARGE heads. haha.. ;)

Dropped by Del Amo, and they no longer stock Suomy helmets. Luckily, the girl behind the counter owned one and let me try it on. The medium was quite snug, so I am going with that. Thanks for the tip! Now I need to special order a dark tinted shield.

Really! Marv, if the price is about the same, I'd get them at Buymoto. What if you get the wrong size online or something falls off, then who are you going to take it to!

Yeah, I was trying to get it hooked up, but the price of the Spec-1r's is unmatched by anyone. :( I'm buying everything else from BuyMoto. As retribution, I'll put a Hypercycles sticker on the helmet (maybe a BuyMoto one as well). Mmm'kay???

i bought the gunwind... does anyone know what the differences are between the gunwind and the spec 1r? i mean besides the obvious vents etc... is the shell the same? o and fun bike center has some suomys left.. on large and up though... i was gona get a med untill i tired on the large... i guess they run a little small.

Yo, thanks man I gotta get a helmet for a present, gift, whatevers...I was looking for a Suomy and its looks way cheaper on the link than in stores.
