!@#$%* the FLU!

Two days before track day and I wake up this morning with a sore throat and a headache. The first symptoms of either a cold or flu. I'll be taking some cold/flu medicine tonght. But does anybody else any special tricks to combat the cold. I heard Hennissey warmed up with some honey helps. C'mon all you alcoholics, help a brotha!

That sucks! Last time I got those symptoms, for the first 4 days I just had a runny nose to deal with, so all is not bleak! ...though on the 4th day I had a head ache that was killing me and all I wanted to do was sleep.

Try the Hennesy, if it doesn't work it'll at least make you forget about it. I think that's why I'm never sick. Remember a six pack a day keeps the DR. away:D

Dude, that really sucks.

Sleep and drink as much water as you can, and more when you can't drink anymore. On Friday, take some Ephedrine and Red Bull and you'll be good to go.

Stay away from anything diuretic... so NO ALCOHOL, caffine...

Stay warm, get some rest and ...fight the power, err KILL WHITEY... I mean take care of yourself.

Thanks for all the feedback fellas. On my lunch break, I went to the local drug store, and picked up some Dayquil. Stuff works wonders, I'm starting to feel a lot better. Now to start working on the OTHER headache. . .GP TECHMAN! :p

I went to home early form work on monday..I promised myself that I would feel sick as much as I could on that day and that day only.....yesterday I felt great....
I owe it all to my Flintstones vitamins... :)
