Sean (GPTechman) has 2 rooms available in a spacious townhome in Mira Mesa. They are $445 each. Any takers??

Be sure you screen these people properly to make sure they have steady income.... even the ones you know.

luckily it hasn't happened to me yet, but one of my friends in the OC had a roomie that gave them 10 days notice and moved out of a room that was $600/ month and they still got 4 months and no roomie.

Welcome of the club. My friend told me he wouldn't be with us next school year but staying during the summer. Actually, he didn't even tell me, I had to find out on my own and bring it up to him. I guess he was going to wait until the last possible moment leaving us with no time to find a replacement. Then about 10 days ago, he was like "oh yeah, I'm not going to be staying for the summer. And I'm moving out before June cuz I don't want to pay double rent." So now we're left looking for another person to live in mira mesa also. And what's real cute is since he's moving to an apartment, he using this place as his own storage place so he's leaving hell of stuff behind. Talk about the living in one's own little world.:grr:

i have one word for you, Lawsuit.......
if your roomate is your good friend then i'll think twice about suing. don't wanna ruin a good friendship...
but then again, if your roomate is your friend, he should pay you the money....

Oh yea, and you know the law in CA is that you must give a 60 day notice before you leave under normal conditions (the things you learn from watching people's court). If they don't or there is no written proof, you can sue.

Let's not get out of hand people... this is the real deal for Sean.. tough situation but it would be nice if you guys can stick to the topic on more serious posts like this one. I'm sure you guys know how frustrating it is to find roommates especially when they BAIL on you! No more "derailing" PLEEZ! mmmmkay? :headbang: If you have something positive or constructive to contribute, please do so. Otherwise, please be nice and post your "rants and vents" in a different thread (preferably in the off-topic section of course). ;) PEACE!

Hey Sean, my friend, Jayson's lease is ending either this month or next at his Costa Verde Apt so I know he's lookin for a space! Plus his G35 is expecting delivery soon so he's already getting killed with the $900/month rent. I'm gonna be hangin with him tonight so I'll ask him if he's interested!

Hey Sean, Tracy is looking for a new place to stay, but is currently out of the country. Drop her a line, though. I think she is still checking voice mail. I'll talk to her if she is allowed back in the country.
