Dang im exhausted and I didnt even ride.....:( but had fun taking pics and hearing the sh!t talking.....Everyone was looking good....too many crashes today...:( had a nice ride up..was having a nice relaxing drive home until some guy ran a board over and kicked into my lane..nicking my tire and making go flat........bah......

ok track talk....

The skid pad was getting people..there were no cones set up on the inside and too many people were going inside and exiting really wide into the dirt....but overall it was a nice good track day...pics in pic section

lets see.. a bunch of crashes in the morning before lunch. Gave everyone a good talking to at lunch, asked for suggestions on what we could do etc. We also made an adjustment with the cornerworkers. I guess whatever we said at lunch worked because the track was all free of incidents after lunch and tracktime was uninterupted.

Funny thing that happened for the day. A cornerworker was taking care of business in the "blue room", and the wind knocked it over -hahahahha!

Shaggy, and several others made me their B-I-T-C-H on the track, (damn I'm such a puss)

Good times!

-ps.. Thanks Pete for showing me around, I still need to work on getting on the gas earlier, and harder.. but I got faster after you showed me around. My fastest laptime (according to my timer) was a 1:29.6 edited by moderator to show proper lap time...

Had a great time out at streets today. Dustin, thanks for hosting such an awesome event. I really enjoy the two group format, and I will return for the next trackdayz event. Other then the many crashes in the first half of the day it was a great time. Fortunately, it didn't seem like anyone was really injured though on the bright side of things.

Carlos, thanks for being a trooper and coming to hang out with us. I wish you could have brought the evil mistress, but next time it won't be an option. YOU WILL RIDE! BTW, sorry to hear you got a flat man, but ya still beat us home!

Josh, thanks for the ride up and good company man! That dvd player is da shiznit dawg. Wish I ahd one in the ride...

Good seeing everyone out there. I'm exhausted and it's time for bed pretty soon. I'm too tired to post up any details right now...

tires stuck great and the lean angel on tehm was insane i thought. i was dragging my toe sliders everywhere which i never do. the turn in was not as quick as i would have liked but lowering the front helped that. overall for the price the bridgestones were a damn good tire. did not slip on me once.

yeah it was definitely a fun day!
sorry to shaggy, jared, mike, and jenn who thought i was half dead half the time. a lot of time it was just actually me having nothing to say... cuz you guys were all dicing it up... and i was uh... *looks behind shoulders* back there. i definitely did learn a lot about my bike and tire confidence. just seeing what jason, jared, and especially luis (freak man!) do with their bikes instills more confidence in me already. i know for sure that i need to change some of my bike gearing and just lean the freakin' thing over to even try to keep up with you fools next time.

biggest props goes to shaggy. that boy is so prepared... spares of everything. very organized in the way he packs up his stuff... methodical and purposeful in everything he does. props to him for driving too... while i was passed out next to him with my mouth gapping wide open. :/ oh yeah... talk about OWN3AGE every lap too. i was getting used to hearing his pipe and him passing me every lap of the race session...

arnold - even you had to pass me! you were looking smooth though man. bike looked good too.

jared - you seem to get faster and faster each time i ride with ya.

luis - i just can't drop the bike in like you do. maybe i need to work on my prince look, that might help. LOL

jiggy - sorry for the get off. way to be a sport even though you were sick throughout the trackday.

stroble - thanks buddy for the food. if i wasn't riding, i'da had myself another one of those monster burgers.

carlos - thanks just for coming out man. even though i've only hung/ridden with ya a couple of times... i really enjoy your laid back company. thanks for the movie too! new movie to add to the collection. hahah jk

sarah - nice meeting you... didn't know you were shortee. (:

olga - nice meeting you too... sorry you had to meet me half nekkid. if i were you, i wouldn't have minded tho. haha jk

um... who else. oh! my other 2 halves... josh and josh... way to be fast and smooth out there. josh (zxracer)... i might have to take you up on the plastics repair buddy.

jenn - thanks for just being all around cool. sorry we didn't really get to knit. stupid wind!

dustin thanks for an awesome day! looking forward to the next trackday event!

oh yeah... almost forgot to thank my sponsor... GPTECHMAN!
i'll pay you back... sometime. thanks buddy.

yeah, i got to take an inventory of what i need tonight or tomorrow, and soon she will be back up and street legal. she runs just fine, one bulletproof engine, but the front end (not the fork, just the lights and gauge cluster) needs to be replaced. hopefully it wont cost as much as it looks right now...:errf:

anyway, she will be back on the track and stealin lines like she was on monday :-p

Very nice. I love those RZ's. I had 2 RD350's and an RD400 (air cooled RZ350 predecessor), but never got the chance to get 'em running. Sold 'em a couple months ago. If you get one, all I can say is good luck keeping the front wheel down when the power hits.

I've never seen one of those R3's, but damn that's nice. I'd rock one of those anyday. If you get one, I'm slappin some 1" dogbones on the 636 so we can swap rides. :-p
