MOTO GP LEGEND WAYNE RAINEY
WILL MAKE SPECIAL APPEARANCE ON MAY 29TH
FOR Q&A WITH DIRECTOR MARK NEALE

FASTER will screen in Santa Cruz, California on Wednesday, May 26th at
8pm,
Saturday, May 29th at 2pm and 8pm, and on Sunday, May 30th at 2pm and
6pm,
at the Rio Theatre, 1205 Soquel Avenue, Santa Cruz, CA 95062. Tickets

Racing legend Wayne Rainey will make a special appearance at the 8 pm

director
Mark Neale. Prominently featured in FASTER for his incomparable
contributions to the sport of motorcycle racing, Rainey was the top
World
Championship 500cc Grand Prix rider of the early 1990s, winning three
consecutive World Championships riding for Yamaha. In addition to his
accomplishments on the world championship level, Rainey was also a star
of
AMA Superbike racing during the 1980s, winning that title in 1983 with
Kawasaki and again with Honda in 1987. Rainey's career as a motorcycle
racer
came to an abrupt end in September 1993 when he crashed while leading
the
Italian Grand Prix and suffered paralyzing spinal injuries. He returned
to
the world championship circuit as a team owner and manager, and
currently
races in a specially-designed go-kart. (Source: American Motorcyclist
Association).

apparently they are looking to host in 2005 at Laguna Seca but in order for homologation for US MotoGP, mmillions would have to be put into refurbishing the track...just something i read and theyve been saying this forever but cant seem to make any progress so who knows?? i mean it took so long (2 freakin seasons?!) to get this movie on dvd so anyones guess is as good as mine:confused:

Of course I watched it 10 minutes later. Yeah yeah I built it up over the last frickin year waiting for it, but it's really good and I'd recommend it to anybody, especially you moto freaks.
