View Full Version : Official Trackdaz SOW on Saturday, August 7th

I know another thread was started, but after some discussion I thought another thread was in order, sorry.
Not having been to the track since last December, I am going to do everything and anything possible to make it to this trackday.
So far, me, Ardel, Mark D, Mike D, Zernan, and hopefully Zandro have committed to this trackday. Hopefully Rex and Cobra will be able to make it also. Both Mike D and I have trucks so that will account for 4 bikes. Also, Mark, Mike, Ardel and I will share a room. Yes this trackday will be hot, but most of us have been through it before.
This is what we have so far:
*Me and Ardel bikes in my truck
*Mike and Mark D in Mike's truck
*We leave Friday evening, August 6th to Motel 6
So chime in and let us know your thoughts/plans so we can coordinate.

I'm there. 100%. I have an Xterra with a hitch, but no trailer. So I'm all for driving if need be, if somebody has a trailer. Otherwise I'll need to find a ride. :D

okay..im going to this then....as long as the navy doesnt send me away...i would transpo..and i can get some lodging.....and rex said he cant make it..that honeymoon thing is getting in the way
allan im gonna edit your post with a list of names..ok? lemme know

D@mn and d@mn again!! Aarrgh. I'm a little frustrated can you tell? Yeah, I got your msg this morning Allan. Sorry, my phone is dead and I can't find the freakin charger. Anyway, yeah, like Los said, I'ma be pretty much tied up from wedding day 7/31 until I get back from Hawaii on 8/10. Thanks for the invite bro. I'll definitely take the next one out though.

mmmmm tempting!
Allan stay at the Park Plaza! It's much nicer and much roomier! You can also park you vehicle next to the room for reassurance! You can squeeze 5 peeps no problem! $60 if you tell them you're "racing" at Willow!
P.S-It's closer too!

I'm going to try and custom make a trailer hitch for my MR2... I want to run the Harbor Freight 4x8' $200-300 trailer. Alright guys, start flaming!!!..

ok guys count me out of all track days for at least one year!!! the wife said if i gave them up for a year i can get my MITSUBISHI 50 INCH HIGH DEFINITION PLASMA TV next week, personally i think it's a no brainer, what do you guys think? motogp on sundays, my place, in all it's high def glory!!!!!

besides i got palomar to flog the kawi on i'll just treat it like a trackday with cars! thats what hypercycles condones, right?:whistle:
so what's the scoop on this? how many groups are they running? does anyone still have room in their truck?

There are two groups..sport and race or is street and race...Dustin can clarify for me....
I know of three members who will be definetly attending....and two of them have trucks:woot: ..so a ride could be arranged for you....

streets sounds like it may be more suiting for me that BIG track, i talked to peanutbrit who wants me to do the all womens thing but its kinda pricey so ill try to make/find $$ for this one

Hans, I still don't have my truck yet but I"ve arranged with another fellow for a ride up there on Fri. I am going to look at a truck this coming weekend so if anything comes up, I'll let you know. Just wanted to give you a heads up so you can look for a ride in the meantime. See you out there on the 7th!
Sarah, I don't believe there is a deadline to pay, but you'll want to be sure to sign up early if you want to secure your spot in the street group before it sells out.
