Deno, I guess for now this officially makes me numba 1! Went up to the Crest with Pulse and had to hit up the infamous stunt strip out across the dessert. hehe, it was fun, rolled a couple for a hella long time, getting her balanced is a scary feeling...

Yeah, I always get that with the 50 tooth sprocket specialist. Or, as Carlos would call it a medium pepperoni pizza!

Definitely looks like you had a good old time! Wish I could have gone man. I have wanted to ride the crest for awhile now.

hey everyone, we need to plan a big ol' group ride up to the crest one of these days, It really is a LOT of fun, way more than I anticipated. It's like 80 miles of the fast side of palomar! just nice flowing corners with nothing to catch you off guard like the tightside.

Aww.. it's not so bad. First, he's got all his safety gear on (jacket, gloves, pants, helmet, etc) and second, he found an empty strip of road that appears to have good visibility up and down for a fair distance I believe with no traffic. :)

exactly! I was in my full leathers, smx boots, on a road in the middle of nowhere! It seriously is in the middle of the dessert and you can see for miles in both directions! now on the way home...that was a different story!

Hell ya! Head up here any time you want. Weather is warming up... pretty soon the back-side of ACH will be open! I know a good loop that I have been try out:
from the 15: exit 138, take a left at that backroad to Wrightwood, west on ACH, stop and eat at Newcomb's, continue west on ACH, right at Upper Big T, AFH towards Palmdale, then take the Mt. Emma route back to Wrightwood. ...damn, I wonder if I would have enough gas for that route.
