I know I missed some great riding this past weekend due to Mr Morgan and Dr Pepper. I know there were also a squadron load of crashes too! Not my cup of tea! I want to ride this weekend! Chime in with ideas.
OH AND NO SQUIDS ALLOWED! :rifle: If you don't know how to ride within your limit, don't go! CAPESH!

Mental note....do not post this ride up on every other board like always....

Two up is actually better in my opinion. Makes the freeway a little more smooth. And definitely works on smooth in the canyons. I have done the ride down to Escondido with a passenger and had a blast (even with the torrential downpour!). I was on a YZF600 at the time, though.
But seriously: call something down there, haven't rode there in a long time. Call it and I will (most definitely) attend!

Yeah, well if Andre, Jose , Mike H, you go then maybe we hit up the Banner grade and Montezuma's pass-which I think is completely repaved now!
Yeah, I'm not posting this on the other boards, because I don't want a whole, big group rollin.

I don't know the area at all. Tell me where to meet everyone, and I'll sweep the group. My tires are shot (will replace next week during the week), and my chain needs replacing (my friend's got a tool and I am doing this Sunday). :(

I don't want this to be a farely large group. So the people meeting up at the Shell-gas up, check tire pressure, etc. Bail at 8:30. Meet up with N.O.T riders at the entrance to HVR at 8:45! Sound good Dre!

I might be able to go if I can get a new rear tire put on soon. Already put 6.5K miles on the bike and have only had it since Beginning of Jannuary, the rear just didn't last as long as I had hoped.

Of course u could go Bill! We could also throw Old Juian into the mix as well. Any more wishes. . .like a Yamaha perhaps! :-p ;)
**Remember peeps, this isn't a race, nor a baby sitters club. You guys need to know where you stand as far as riding capibility goes. I don't mind slower riders, we'll stop midway through in order for eveyone to catch up! Rememer folks, it's all about being safe and smooth**

Sure I'll take a Yamaha, but I'm not giving up my Kawi for it!!! :-p
This is my kind of ride. I can't keep up with the fast guys, but I hate feeling like they're not having fun because they're laggin back for me. Me no pushy bikey no more after slidey on pavement.
I think this is the same route Josh. I'm not 100% cause most of the roads were new to me. Man it was an awesome route though. Gonna be hot in the desert.

If you guys want a fun route I'll take you out s2 sometime. Long and fast. and then there are the roads between s2 and julian which are prim for leaning your bike over as far as you want. Fast or slow those roads are a blast. I know most of south and east san diego. Especially telegraph, 94 and around julian.

Ok so I think Im going, gonna roll the vulcan 2 up style with nic
I also was wondering if anyone would volunteer taking my sister 2 up or at least alternating with nic?
she is vroomvroom on the board and is interested in possibly getting a bike.....so I think getting her on a ride might be fun.

FYI: I am breaking off from the group after Montezuma because I have to ride to Temecula, pickup a 4-wheeled vehicle, then drive down to BuyMoto before they close to *finally* pick-up the Pit-Bull stands that have been sitting there for a couple of weeks. ...although I might do this on Sunday. Is BuyMoto open on Sundays?!? MotoGP is not on until 3PM this Sunday.
