im looking to change my chain and sprockets. i am looking for a bit more pick up, powerban was smoking me by 5mph at race legal in Qualcomm. i was told that 1 down in front and 1 up in back would do the trick? im open to comments and suggestions. i am also curious to what brands you riders are using and like?

Hey jelco. i was looking in other forums and other f4i's actually like -1/+2. I always liked AFAM and Sprocket Specialists for the gears. DID ERV2 or DID VXM are good chains. So is RK. Let me know when you get these..we'll put them in. By the way. I did a lil shopping for you, and buymoto.com has the best prices. cool deal huh? Enjoy.

Suggestion
if its a track bike go with aluminum sprockets
if its a street bike use steel
the aluminum will save weight blah blah blah but wont last as long as the steel ones.
