Two crashes, two Hondas-600RR and 1000RR. . . Kent said it best. . . 'Palomar not respected'
Hope it's no one from this board. . .
*check out the dude's shoes in the first crash!*

His crash didn't look too bad, but the dood in the 1000rr looked bad! Good thing he was wearing his leathers and had some room to slide. See now, if the 2nd dood was wearing just jeans and t-ness shoes like the guy in the 1st pick, OUCH!

To state the obvious...homie in the picture wearing skate shoes and jeans is a big NO NO at Palomar!!! He is lucky that he didn't sustain any serious injuries. I ride daily, and I don't wear full leathers, unless I'm doing some canyon or serious riding, but if you are going to be riding Palomar full leathers are a must. Unless, you plan on riding like you got Miss Daisy on the back!!!

I was up there on Saturday and came upon a dude who had lowsided near the top on a brand spankin' new Mille R . Still had paper plates.
His buddy said that he super competitive and Palomar is definitely not the place to bring that crap to the table. Sadly it's just lack of experience and most of the crashes I've seen up there have been people freaking out mid turn and trying to jump on the brakes or pulling in the clutch and either lowsiding or standing the bike straight up and running out of road.
Ride safe guys, at your pace, wave the faster ones by and take your time.

:roflmao: nothing is wrong with your style at all bruddah! I'm working on using more self control on the street, but it's easier said than done. A little less :squid: stuff, and more rational thinking. Many track days to come in the near future to push the envelope!

 The last time I rode w/ya at Palomar...you were very fast. A different story from Streets of Willow. You didn't change your gearing from then did ya *ah hem* because according to Sean, gearing has nothing to do being faster at SOW!

no i still have the same gearing.
thing with SOW was that i hadn't ridden in a long time before that trackday. so most of that day was spent getting used to the bike again, regaining my proper form, and getting passed by the likes of you, shaggy, jiggy, and pulse. :embarrass
also... there are longer straights at SOW...
but once i get some cha-ching... i will be swapping out my chain and sprockets.

I know mang, I'm just messin with cha! I was the opposite at SOW. I was doing really good the early sessions up until lunch time. After that the fatigue and soreness started kickin in and I was really slow.
Let me know when you get your chain and sprocket-I got the tools to make the job easier!

I think it mostly has to do with the 600RR not being a good starter bike. My.02
