I've HEARD elka makes good stuff, don't know anybody that actually rides it though...you cann't go wrong with either penske or ohlins. they are the biggest names in the business. Ohlins for me thank you...

thanks for the link arnold, i checked out their website too, and they seem legit. a factory that makes suspension for offroad has to have quality right? i mean those things are pushed more than a streetbike would. im intrigued, especially since they seem to be trying to get into the sportbikes, which might mean low prices.

can you guys at buymoto give me a quote on this for me babee?

I think that the same guys that started Ohlins started Elka. not sure if that was already said

but even though it seems like if you are good at off road you would be good making on road parts.

on road parts are about feel and Subtleties, which are not as important in an environment where strenght and longevity comes into play.

so the response curve of superbike forks compared to enduro forks is far different, and they are both pushed equally through the range of opperation in these races, so i have to say just cause you can build one dosnet mean its any easier to prefect the other.

so even thought it seems like off road equipment is pushed harder, tell that to rossi as he is searching for feed back while the rear is sliding out from under him

but that being said, i still like their product, and am looking into buying a rear shock

when ordered, they seem to set it to certain specifications. does this mean i can just install when i receive it, and not pay a few hundred to have that done?
