By chance does anyone out there ever take passengers? I enjoy riding cycles; however, I am somewhat picky........like I have room to be picky since I don't even own on. But, nevertheless, I like the "speed demon" (aka crotch rockets).......I guess you might say that I have a need for speed. I reside in the Eastlake area; and, yes, I have stopped at the Mobil gas station on Sundays and have asked those guys if they would consider taking me. Well, either I am speaking Greek; :eek: or, they are dumbfounded because it isn't everyday that a woman asks. Whatever the case maybe, they just look at me like I am from Mars.
Like I mentioned I have experience being on the back of a bike; and prior to moving out here, would partake in rides with my friends back home (home being in the DC area). Since I have moved out, I haven't had the opportunity and it is killing me. I have my own gear (helmet,gloves and jacket)so no worries there; and, no stranger to cycles.

I don't know if I understood right, but seems like you're looking for a new bike. If you like nakeds I'm selling my babe. Great beginner's bike and if you were concerned about touching the ground with a katana, you should definitely try the SV. More info on this thread:

Crunches, side bends (with weights) and cardio! When I get my shirts from you, I can show you a few exercises to begin and go from there.

Eat less and cardio will get rid of them. Do that first and worry about the exercises later.

And some cardio is good in combination with weights. You burn a lot building muscle.

and welcome modelmidat! riding passenger is cool to get familiar w/ the whole riding expeience but lemme just say you wont wanna be lookin at the back of a helmet for long! i see you are looking at the katana...may i suggest an sv650/650s?? same price range, make, seat height (by an inch)...just my 2cents (my net worth! haha)

ya u should totally come the the bbq tomorrow and i look forward to chattin w/ ya but i dont like to exercise cuz im afraid ill disappear and cuz im a lazy mofo :-p
