I'm Tim. I live in Ohio. I've owned and ridden several styles/types of bikes. First was a 1974 CB750. Rode that a few years then got the (one time) love of my life: Brand New 1998 VFR800 Interceptor. Loved it, rode the hell out of it (15,000 miles in 3 OHIO summers), then got a job with a commute and had to trade it in for a (gasp) car. Have since owned a mint 1989 Virago 750 (terrible handling, braking, and comfort) and I most recently rebuilt the motor on a 1981 Honda CM400T. Another horrendous riding bike, but a fun experience taking down the engine and putting it back together.
Unfortunately I now own nothing (unless an 18-speed counts-wait-that's not even mine). I know I'll ride again someday, perhaps when my kid graduates college (she's almost 2!!!)
I work for the Ohio Highway Patrol and actually found this site while looking for crash pictures for a Teen driving course sponsored by the Patrol. I've used some of your pictures and videos and I must say they make an impact on the kids(all sentenced to the course for bad driving by the Juvinile court system).
I hope you all appreciate how lucky you are to have such great bikes and so many wonderful people to ride with. Stay safe and I'll see you out there as soon as I get my next bike (most likely a 2025 YZFR1!!)
