I'm not which came first actually. Hypercycles as a club was established in 99/2000. Dunno...

Our club, Hypercycles, was established in July of 1999 as a non-profit organization initially for my fellow students and friends at UCSD.

Carry Andrew established a small motorcycle business in 1978 called "Hypercycle". Their club name is called "Hyper Club". Since '78 their business has grown and it's not quite the small operation anymore.

We have no association with Carry Andrew's Hypercycle. Actually, the term "hypercycle" is a term often used in science and research as well. In any case, hopefully this won't get confusing down the road.
