When searching for parts for my bike, some websites seem to have not updated their sites for the 600rr. What other honda bikes usually have the same fitments as the 600rr? Wheels, preload adjusters, brake discs, etc...

I noticed in your sig that you've got the 600RR at 85 hp. Is that true?

BTW, 04cbr600rr - Are you Ren? :)

Better? Dont forget to find out about that CF stuff. Just to let you know if you wanted some feed back, that K&N's fitment sucked, had to bend the sides of the filter to get a good seal. It was off about half an inch on both sides.

I thought the RWHP was MORE actually. So strange with the K&N Filter. I wonder if other folks have this fitment problem. I'll find out about those CF bits ;)

Hey Jae, got some info on the BST's. One of my good ole friends came back today from Italy and he was telling me about those wheels. One guy riding there hit a pot hole and he says that the impact wasnt that hard but it shredded the front wheel and he crashed. He said that the wheel didnt crack but totally shredded. The guy had carbon pieces stuck in his hip and was a pain to take out. If you got any more info about the wheels strengths and reliability on the streets let me know. I know its a big bling bling factor and should only be used for track and show, but as I was with my bad ass Supra, it would always be nice to use it as a daily rider and not worry about things like that. If im gonna spend that much cheese on these wheels I better get my moneys worth. So let me know cuz if it comes down to it, im gonna want some other wheels. Maybe gold or bronze??

I have an idea... y not powdercoat yer stockers, buy the BSTs and swap out for shows...

My thinking on the CF wheels is that they should pretty much be used as pure bling factor. Although the story you shared is quite disturbing, Magnesium wheels are more prone to damage than CF wheels. So besides Mag and CF, your only other option would be to go Aluminum. Honestly, I think CF is still probably the top of the food chain in terms of wheels.

I wonder if other folks have any input for you regarding what kind of rims to get...

Yeah swapping them for shows sounds good but that gives other people reasons to talk s***. I had white TE-37's on my Supra and i never took them off to roll on stockers. Go to a show and slide your finger anywhere you want inside the wheel with a white glove and you would never find any dust!!!! So to keep a bad ass wheel on the bike all the time and keep it nice and clean would always be a BIG plus for the judges. Now if i can only booger up the tires before a show would be BIG PROPS! So all the other wheels that i have seen on the internet are all mags?? Anyone got ideas on wheels???????? HELP!!

Those are nice rims = $, I wouldn't get them for normal commuting! I hardly drive around town in my Marche's. Here's some more info on BST-BlackStoneTek wheels (http://www.bikehps.com/bst/).

Ren, O-Z is no longer making moto-wheels. I think the only two other alternatives are Marchesini and Marvic (sp?).
