Welcome John.
If you ever get bored with 2 of the SAME bike, I'd be willing to assist you (free of charge) by taking one off your hands. Just let me know. Really, it's no problem. Just tell me when. I have no problem riding the track bike on the street. All you gotta do is ask. No seriously. Ask already. I'm getting impatient. Oh forget it. I didn't wanna help you anyway. No No I'm sorry. I do wanna help. I'll tell you what: you're probably bored with both bikes, so here's what I'm gonna do for YOU! I'll take em both, then trade one off for ya and get you a nice Buell. You could live with that right. Again, it's all on me. All you gotta do is ask.
Again, welcome!! I'm curious. What percentage of your riding is track versus street? What do you find more enjoyable?

Thanks for the warm and quite humorous welcome. Since I am selling one for a track 600rr, you’re more than welcome to take one off my hands. all you have to do is drive from Ohio. You are from Ohio Right? Land of that stupid brown nut thing. I lived there a lot when I was young. Dayton, Milford, cinci can’t say I miss the cold and the rain and such.
Anyway, to get to your real question about the track. I commute on the bike most everyday but I don’t count that as riding. So with that said I ride at least 150-300 miles on the weekend. Mostly canyon riding with lots of turns. Keeps my tire wear even. No flat spots down the middle. You know come to think of it if I didn’t commute my tire would look like a wedge /\...
I ride on the track at least one weekend a month except in the middle of the summer. To damn hot. I find the track a whole lot more fun that the street. A WHOLE LOT more fun...I can go Fast, Drag my knee and not have to worry about oncoming traffic, blind corners, oil, gravel, bicyclist...etc. you get the idea. I also get to work on problem areas over and over. Don’t have to turn back, just keep going around. I even went and got my amateur racing license.
Is this long enough? Short version the track is the only place where you can truly work on skills.
Thanks again for the welcome.

Wuddup Mr. 2-bike-man. I'm thinkin' about gettting a 2nd bike but none of the dealerships want to take one of my kids for trade. Damn their stingy.
