plus, could you really WALK in those? I dunno about you guys, but I commute, so I like to be able to walk without feeling like I've got ski boots on

Just picked up a pair, I love them!
I've had them for almost 2 years now. They're great boots.

It's crazy how almost all Sidi boots are made of Lorica, an alternative to leather that's supposed to be better. I really want the white ones.

I have the corsas and they have a weird wear spot on the toe of each boot. But it's on the leather - not on a replacable part. I have no idea how they are wearing there, but....

what do you mean? is a part that is dragging on the ground? if it is you need to change your feet position or your body position.

Ha, no. I'm not *that* fast.
It's presumably just from walking around. It's weird becuase it's on both boots. It's a small area just in front of my big toe. Almost like I'm dragging my toes when I walk or somehting.

Directly t the tip of the boot or on the top of the boot infront of yout big toe? If it is onthe tip part I have that too but I think it is from stop and go traffic and stop lights. I think I drag them slightly when leaving a light.
Yeah I think I have that too. Is it on the tip, just above the sole?

Mine is right on the tip of the big toe.
The way the other parts of the boot surround that area, it's an odd place to have any wear at all. And it's practically the only part of the boot that *isn't* replaceable.
Cool to know I'm not the only one, though.
I heard from a friend recently that you can't get replacement soles for these boots. This really pisses me off as it seems ridiculous that the one piece most likely to wear out is not replaceable.
I swear I saw them for sale once upon a time. The SIDI site used to have them listed under accessories or parts. I also saw them on various websites. However, since the my friend brought up the issue it seems that all traces of replacement soles have vanished. My friend also said that the guys over at Moto Nation said that replacement soles are not available, and that they were not very helpful in the matter.
This is all hearsay, except for the fact that I've scoured the internet for replacement soles and have come up empty handed. Replacement soles must be available. I mean they make boots, so they must have soles.
I don't know what's up with this, but I'm in need if new soles fairly soon, and if I can't get them I'm gonna be pretty upset. Maybe I will have to go directly to SIDI if Moto Nation can't come through, and order my damn soles from Italy.

They only make replacement soles for the supermoto boots. I have never seen replacement soles for any of the road racing boots. Of course if you take them down to your local shoe repair, I am sure they could hook you up.
I know there's not a direct 'bolt on' replacement. But I swear they used to sell replacement soles for them. There's gotta be a way to get them directly from SIDI, then just take em over to a cobbler to have them put on.
