I am waiting for orders to go to Ft. Benning, GA, which I'm not sure exactly when it will be. I'll be leaving anytime between mid-march to june/july time frame. So I decided to try to sell the bike and the spares now, instead of being caught by a surprise that requires me to report to Ft. Benning right away, especially with several club members showing interest in starting roadracing, or people that want a track bike for trackdays. I also think it's a great time to get into roadracing, especially with WERA starting their league in west coast, at tracks including Button Willow and California Speedway.

The bike is a '99 R6. You can see some pics of the bike in my 'member photo gallery' section, if you want to check out the paint scheme. I've went to the track 3 times after I bought it sometime last September (once to streets and twice to wsir); haven't raced, only did race practice sessions.
It has a fast modified engine; I think the highest HP on dyno was 111.8; the previous owner of the bike was the WSMC 600 modified production class champ, running somewhere around 1'24''-26'', so it's capable of going very fast, although my skills didn't allow me to use the bike to its capability. Bike is track/race ready, with safety wires, etc.

Bike also has race Rearsets, Full Akropovich, Clip-on's, Ohlins Damper, Ohlins Rear Shock, Kevlar brake lines, Race Fairing Brackets, Airtech bodywork, Mycron Lap Timer, factory Race Electrical Harness, 520 chain, Powder-Coated frame, and has a fresh set of Dunlop d208's. Also comes with LP USA race stands, Front and Rear.

I have the Dyno Chart/Paperwork containing horsepower/torque info, as well as a Service Manual and a CD-Rom version manual. Also have Spare paint-scheme-matching Rims (the other set is black), spare Carburetor, spare 49-state Motor, spare Rearsets, spare Battery, spare Engine Case Covers, spare airtech fender, spare Sprockets, spare Race Compound Tires, and many other spare parts here and there.

I was going to put it up for $5000 at the race org sites, but decided to post here first for club members for $4500. I can negotiate on the deal as well, as I need to sell the stuff before I get my orders to go, but the entire spare package is worth good amount of money, as well as great use if you decide to get into roadracing. For people interested in getting into roadracing, this package has pretty much everything you need to start.

Please PM me or give me a call if you or your buddies are interested in checking out the bike. Also, email me at wsmc808@yzfrider.com for more pics if you'd like. Thanks.

WOW Jae.. that's a lot of good stuff you are throwing into this deal here... spare motor too!??

I can say that Jae has done a complete oil change on this bike twice I believe since he's owned it using the best Motul 5100 10w40 oil. He's used the best pump gas on the bike as well. As Jae said, all he's done were 3 practice days... .although I was hoping you would have some time to do at least one last trackday or race with me this year before you get your orders to ship out. :errf: Next time... we will certainly have that. :)

Yea I will definitely miss racing/riding with you and everyone else on/off the track. I know there are many very talented riders in the club. Hopefully some more guys from the club can get into it and share the joy of roadracing with you and each other soon. Represent 'Team Hypercycles' !

Just wondering... By 11A, are you an Infantry officer? And Ft. Benning, man I hate that place.

11A is infantry officer. Going to IOBC followed by Ranger school in the upcoming months. Ft. Benning can be pretty humid and hot during summer, but then again, all army bases are in nasty places. You know what I mean if you were prior service.

Hey Daniel,

Although I would probably part the bike out if I was staying, at this point I would like to sell everything as a whole at one time, so I don't have to worry about things in case I need to take off sooner than expected.

The price is pretty negotiable, so let me know if interested.

I will find out the definite date by no later than first week of March, but I think I will be most likely leaving in around May time frame. Let me know.
