05 GSX-R1000 unveiled
This is the first official picture of Suzuki's 2005 GSX-R1000.
It promises to be even more powerful and even sharper handling than the current cutting edge K4 version.
Engine capacity is up from 988cc to 999cc, its wheelbase is .5mm shorter and it weighs 2kg less than the current model. At 166kg it's lighter than most 600s.

One thing is clear from this first picture - the rumoured duckbill-MotoGP-style front end styling the 05 model was thought to be using, has been ditched in favour of a sexier, purposeful look.
The whopping titanium end can is likely to provoke debate.

I dig the turn signals in the mirrors. And the 166 kg (or roughly 365 lbs), that's only 6 lbs. heavier than the 750. In contrast, the '04 R1 weighs in at 375 lbs. Go team Zuki.

I think you have to get used to the new look.You either love it or you hate it.
I did the same thing with the new gixer..but, when I've seen it up close and personal at the dealer..and sat on it....different story.
I like the new 04 Gixer...very unic..and great lines!

I'll never forget myself the day I passed on one good offer.This guy, sold this bike with 6900$! Less than 2500 miles on it!
And all this work and tapeorks kit on it.Not a big orance fun..I like red and black...some one PLEASE tell me this bike is HOT!!!!!
I still can get over it!

Something about the front end looking a bit funky :errf: I think its the ram air tubes...Nice touch with the signals in the mirrors....I'm sure it'll look a lot better in person.
