Stack the old fork seals you pulled out on top of the new seal and drive it in with your fingers.

It works.

I'd think you'd have a real tough time finding someone with a 38mm seal driver.

Unless you are Bill or familiar with the 5 point heart exploding heart technique I duno about doing it with your fingers :-P... I'm not sure it would seat the seals all the way in or evenly. Stacking the old seals is a good idea and that's what most people do... but i'd still drive it in with a pvc pipe or a wooden block + deadblow hammer. Redoing the fork seals is NOT fun.

It worked on my CB350 anyway. Then again, have you seen my python arms? They're HUGE!!!

Sorry these guns are not for hire. :-p

Have you gone to Home Depot? The PVC doesn't have to be exactly 38mm. Just big enough to fit over the tube and small enough to still hit the seal. Doesn't have to be PVC either. If you find a metal pipe, just wrap the inside with duct tape so you don't scratch your tubes.
